The Organising Committee of the 13th International Nursing Research Conference (Investén – isciii) take great pleasure in inviting you to attend the 2009 edition, which will be held at the School of Nursing of the University of Alicante, Spain from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th of November, both inclusive.

We would like this Conference to be an informal meeting point where professionals can exchange opinions, experiences, ideas, doubts, future and present research projects, suggestions, knowledge...

We are sure that the Conference will be an extraordinary opportunity for exchanging knowledge on research results from different health care fields. An occasion to get involved in evidence based care by contributing to its transfer and utilisation.

We expect this conference will consolidate the grounds built on the obtained results and will gather a great number of professionals from different health areas and from all over the world.

Alicante is a city with an abundance of heritage and it will remind us that truly amazing human feats can be achieved through the development of skills. It is positioned on the Mediterranean Coast and hosts a wealth of culture and historic monuments left by the different peoples who inhabited the city.

Regardless of the focus of your academic or clinical endeavours, the knowledge you bring to this Conference will contribute to achieving improved health outcomes globally.
